Muskellunge Lake, Theresa, New York
You can catch 100 in a day.
You can get a free map from the department of land use that will tell you every pond that is stocked by the state: these are free use ponds. Also, you’ll find the pounds and frequency of stocking.
im not sure where santa clara co. is but when i was stationed in cali iwas told that santa margarite res. had good crappie and bass fishing. take a float tube. good luck, hoped this helped.
If your ever on the East Coast, Lake Jordon, NC is the place to be. One of the North Amercias Best Rated Crappie Lakes.
Average catch rate is 200 to 400 a night…………………
Because so many out of state people were coming in to fish the wildlife has put a limit of 20 per person per day even though the bite & catch rate has not slowed in 10 years.
I suggest checking out fishsniffer.com the website gives you information about each many lakes in California and Nevada. (http://www.fishsniffer.com/) Once you get to the website on the left side of the screen is a link called features. Go there and then click on maps. If your just looking for crappie Calero. in between Morgan Hill and San Jose. Between Calero and Coyote they put out some monster bass too. Uvas is also decent. You can also check out the DFG website of what lakes they have stocked each week.
